POSIX provides a large standard set of functions that will be helpful throughout the semester. To familiarize ourselves with these functions, you’ll be responsible explaining one POSIX function to the class. In your presentation, you will have three minutes to answer the following questions:
You should start by reading the man page for your assigned procedure, but make sure you test it—man pages are not always that clear.
If you would like to include sample code in your short presentation, please send it to me at least half an hour before class on Friday. Try to stay under ten lines of code if at all possible.
