HW 9 - Datapath Models
Due at 10:30pm on Monday, November 16, 2015

For assignment 9 you will present your datapath model in lab on Tuesday, November 17 and submit documentation for your model. The model and presentation portion of this assignment will account for 70% of your total grade, and the remaining 30% will be based on your documentation.

Each group should send me a single email with your documentation attached in PDF format or an archive (.zip or .tar.gz, please) with HTML files and any required videos or images. Please use the subject [CSC 211.01] Assignment 9 and CC all group members on the email. If your documentation includes a video, you are welcome to upload this video to YouTube and either link to it in your documentation or embed the video directly.

Model & Presentation

Your datapath model and presentation will be evaluated using the following criteria:

Accuracy
Does your model accurately demonstrate some aspect of the datapath?
Scope
Does your model show a sufficiently-complex subset of the datapath? Models that cover a very large scope may receive extra credit. Larger groups are expected to demonstrate more complex components of the datapath.
Presentation
Was your presentation clear and engaging? Did you clearly explain how your model corresponds to the datapath component(s) it represents?
Limitations
Did you clearly convey the limitations of your model? What sources of complexity did you omit? Are there any cases where your model does not accurately portray the behavior of the datapath? In all likelihood, your model will not be perfect; you will receive full credit for this category if you identify the weaknesses of your model.

Documentation

Your submitted documentation will be graded using the following criteria:

Style
Is your documentation well-organized and easy to understand?
Spelling & Grammar
Is your documentation free of grammar and spelling errors?
Clarity
Does your documentation clearly explain your model, its connection to the datapath, and any weaknesses or inaccuracies in the model?
Visual Aids
Does your documentation include diagrams or photos of your datapath model? Are these figures adequately discussed in the documentation text?
