Explain the purpose of a tristate buffer, and why it is required. You can assume I understand basic logic gates, combinational building blocks like multiplexers, and the memory elements we have discussed in class.
What are the advantages and disadvantages of DRAM versus SRAM? Why would we go to the trouble of using it?
